When they do one, they typically gather up the top contenders in a specific segment from a wide range of automakers and pit them against each other. You may have noticed that the minivan market has become increasingly more competitive over the last couple of years. To that end, Cars.com, a reputable online resource for new and used car buyers just held their first-ever Ultimate Minivan Shootout. Helping them host the series of head-to-head challenges was USA Today, Motorweek, and an Atlanta-area family of five.

Seven vehicles on the top-ten list of best-selling cars for March 2011 sold more than 30,000 units, while only three accomplished that volume in January and February.
