The short answer is, a lot is new. Below is a list of these incredible changes made to the 2023 Honda Accord.
-All-new sleek and sophisticated exterior design
-4th-generation two-hybrid motor system (Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, Touring) is more powerful and makes the Accord even more fun to drive
-All-new sporty and spacious, modern interior
-Standard 10.2-inch digital driver instrumentation display
-Standard 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility (Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, Touring)
-Honda’s first integration of Google built-in (Touring)
-Updated 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (LX, EX) adds refinement and responsiveness while maintaining fuel efficiency
-Standard Honda Sensing Saftey System
The updates do not stop when you open the door, as the interior has been completely revamped with clean surfaces, high-quality materials, and upscale touches. The all-new Accord offers class-leading passenger volume with 105.7 cubic feet of space, without a moonroof, and 40.8-inches of rear-seat legroom. Premium materials surround the cabin, especially on touchpoints, with great attention to all buttons, knobs, and switchgears. Beyond just aesthetics, the 2023 Accord features all-new front Body Stabilizing seats. This new-generation of seat frame firmly holds the body in place, reducing fatigue on road trips. The 2023 Accord also has the most cargo room in its class, with all models offering 16.7 cubic feet of trunk space and standard fold-down rear seats.
The Accord LX and EX will feature gray and black cloth upholstery with the EX sporting an 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat. The EX will also feature a moonroof, heated front seats, and dual zone climate control. The Sport features unique black cloth upholstery, aluminum pedals, a leather steering wheel and a leather shift knob. Going beyond that, the EX-L and Sport-L will come standard with leather seats and a 4-way power adjustable passenger seat.
The 11th-generation Accord is a leader in midsize sedan safety features, and that is thanks to advanced active and passive safety technology that comes standard on every Accord. One of these updates includes the latest version of the Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure, which helps improves occupant protection in angled frontal collisions. The new Accord also has new driver and passenger front airbags, that are designed to minimize the potential for severe brain trauma associated with angled frontal collisions. The airbags themselves have been updated to use an innovated tuck sewing structure to increase the rigitidy of both side of the airbag.
When you buy the 2023 Accord, you also get the updated Honda Sensing Saftey Suite, which is filled with drive assistive technologies. These are enabled by a new camera, with a wider 90-degree field of view and a wide-angle radar with 120-degree field of view. The Blind spot information has been expanded to now display 82 feet of radar range. This is one of the many features that will help with safe traffic maneuverability, along with the all-new Traffic Jam Assist feature. Traffic Sign Recognition is also standard, and Low-Speed Braking Control is available on the Touring trim.
