The all-new HR-V is finally here and it has undergone some major changes over its previous 2022 model. Featuring a full redesign, the 2023 HR-V has stylish and sporty body lines and a roomy, feature-rich, interior. The 2023 HR-V has more legroom inside, improved stability, and a sportier look with a longer and wider stance.
Refined But Sporty Presence
The 2023 HR-V has many design changes over the previous generation. It features a low horizontal beltline that begins with the extended hood and continues over the rear fenders, giving the car a greater road presence. The all-new HR-V is also 2.6 inches wider and 9.4 inches longer than the previous generation. This, paired with updated wide-set headlights and taillights give the car a wide stance. To wrap it all together, the HR-V features a large and expressive grille, surrounded by functional air-curtain inlets.
Sporty and Spacious Interior
The 2023 HR-V’s interior is a fresh take on Honda’s new “simplicity and something” design direction introduced with the 2022 Civic. The HR-V uses premium materials throughout the interior, with close attention to the operation of all the controls and buttons. The center console is richly upholstered with French stitching. The all-new body stabilizing seats firmly hold the body in place, reducing fatigue and enhancing overall comfort. The HR-V’s standard cargo area has also been enlarged to 24.4cu.-ft. across all trims.
Enhanced Performance
The 2023 HR-V has undergone major improvements in ride, handling, and overall refinement. The wheelbase has been extended for a smoother ride and the wider tracks allow increased stability on the road. Powering the all-new HR-V is the tried and true 2.0-liter engine producing 158-horsepower. The standard continuously variable automatic transmission has been reengineered for improved power delivery, refinement, and engine sound.
