For 2026, the Pilot adds a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, Google built-in, a power tailgate, and roof rails. Honda also refreshed its styling, added sound insulation, and retuned the steering.
Available premium features include a head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated second-row outboard seats.

The Pilot Sport starts the lineup with many of the technology and comfort features families use every day. Standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, heated front seats, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, power tailgate, roof rails, and 20-inch alloy wheels. The Sport seats up to eight passengers, and i-VTM4® all-wheel drive is available for added traction during Minnesota winters.
The Pilot EX-L adds more comfort and flexibility while maintaining seating for up to eight. Highlights include leather-trimmed seats, a stowable second-row center seat, CabinTalk® in-car PA system, parking sensors, wireless phone charging, and additional convenience features. The removable second-row center seat allows the Pilot to switch between a traditional bench and a more open layout similar to captain's chairs.
The 2026 Pilot TrailSport is the most adventure-focused member of the lineup. It seats seven and comes standard with i-VTM4® AWD with Trail Torque Logic, an off-road-tuned suspension, 18-inch TrailSport wheels, all-terrain tires, steel skid plates, recovery points, and an integrated Class III trailer hitch. TrailWatch™ uses exterior cameras to help navigate obstacles, and 8.3 inches of ground clearance and seven selectable drive modes — including Snow, Trail, and Sand — are all included.
The Pilot Touring shifts focus toward premium comfort and technology while retaining eight-passenger capability. It includes a panoramic moonroof, Bose premium audio system, Multiview Camera System with TrailWatch™, hands-free access power tailgate, leather-trimmed seating, and a stowable second-row center seat. The Touring also comes standard with i-VTM4® AWD and seven selectable drive modes.
The Touring Blackout combines the features of the Pilot Touring with a darker appearance package. Black 20-inch alloy wheels, black Honda badging, and additional black exterior details give it a distinctive look while retaining features including the panoramic moonroof, Bose premium audio system, leather-trimmed interior, and Multiview Camera System.
The Pilot Elite adds some of the lineup's most desirable cold-weather and premium features. Heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, head-up display, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and perforated leather-trimmed seating with quilted Ultrasuede® accents are all included. i-VTM4® AWD is standard, making the Elite ideal for Minnesota winters.
At the top of the lineup, the Pilot Black Edition combines premium Pilot features with exclusive styling. Gloss-black 20-inch wheels, black exterior trim, gloss-black mirrors, Black Edition badging, and a Black Edition leather-trimmed interior distinguish it from the Elite. Inside, the Black Edition includes heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, head-up display, Bose premium audio, panoramic moonroof, and red ambient LED lighting.

Interior space
Most trims seat eight. The TrailSport seats seven with second-row captain’s chairs. A stowable second-row center seat on select trims gives families a choice between a full bench and easier access between rows.
A third row is standard. Legroom measures approximately 41 inches in the front row, 40.8 inches in the second, and 32.5 inches in the third.
With rear seats folded, maximum cargo capacity reaches up to 113.7 cubic feet, depending on configuration. An underfloor compartment keeps smaller items out of sight.
Under the hood
Every 2026 Pilot has a 285-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Available i-VTM4® AWD can distribute torque between the rear wheels to help with traction when accelerating and cornering.
Available AWD and Snow mode help with Minnesota winter driving. The TrailSport adds standard AWD, all-terrain tires, and 8.3 inches of ground clearance. Winter tires and road conditions still matter.
Properly equipped AWD models can tow up to 5,000 pounds; FWD models can tow up to 3,500 pounds. The TrailSport includes an integrated Class III hitch. Check your vehicle and trailer ratings before towing.
