Charging Towards The Future: The Honda Prologue

Launching in 2024 is the very first full-electric Honda SUV, designed at the Honda Design Studio in Los Angeles. The Prologue was designed by a young team who set out to create a modern and fresh SUV. The design direction of the Prologue is described as neo-rugged, and this is reflected in details like the panoramic roof and large 21-inch wheels. The Prologue will be available in an exclusive North Shore Pearl exterior color, which was inspired by the natural beauty and colors near Lake Tahoe in California.

The Prologue is positioned to sit alongside the Passport in Honda’s light truck lineup. It will feature a wheelbase of 121.8 inches and is about 8 inches longer and 5 inches wider than the all-new 2023 Honda CR-V. The Prologue will feature a generous interior and technology-rich cabin. It will come with a standard digital 11-inch driver display and a 11.3-inch audio/connectivity display.

The Prologue plays a key role in Honda’s EV sales strategy by kicking it off officially in 2024, followed by the HR-V, CR-V, and Pilot. The Prologue is set to be the perfect vehicle for customers who want the versatility of an AWD SUV with the zero-emissions benefits of a BEV. The Prologue will be a great transition to CR-V owners into a slightly larger and more fuel-efficient offering.
